NOW WITH GLASS DOORS!
Buying a PVC reptile enclosure is an important investment for your pet's wellbeing. We created this enclosure because we believe that reptile owners should have an economical housing option for their pet. Too many reptiles are kept in inadequately sized enclosures, and one big reason is that enclosures are expensive!
- durable PVC panels

- heavy-duty screen
- not affected by humidity
- extremely lightweight (25lbs!)
- easy to move
- easy to assemble
This open front terrarium measures 48"L x 24"W x 12"H, which makes it suitable for housing medium-sized, terrestrial exotic pets such as:
- sandfish skinks
- ocellated skinks
- Rankins dragons
- leopard geckos
- African fat-tailed geckos
- Kenyan sand boas
- rough-scaled sand boas
- hognose snakes
- kingsnakes
- milksnakes
- tiger salamanders
- spotted salamanders
- marbled salamanders
- pixie frogs
Please keep in mind that small colubrids may escape through the gap between the sliding doors, so this enclosure is not recommended for young colubrids without modification.

PRODUCT SPECS
Reptiles Habitats enclosures are made with an aluminum frame and PVC panels for the bottom, back, and sides that slide into the frame. The top is a heavy-duty screen, the front viewing panel is acrylic, and the doors are glass.
Shipped flat. Includes a mallet for easy setup. No additional tools are required. A screwdriver can be used to tighten the screws for the door handles, but do not make them too tight.
1" Stacker/Spacers are now available to stack multiple enclosures (up to 3 high).
ASSEMBLY NOTES
Reptile Habitats enclosures MUST be assembled on a hard surface. Carpet will not work.
The 48x24x12 reptile terrarium comes with double-sided tape instead of part 1E. You will skip step 2C and will attach the acrylic panel using the provided tape.
When assembling your Reptile Habitats reptile terrarium:
- Be sure to put the top on the correct way with the double track in the front.
- Be sure to remove the plastic protective layer included on some panels. Use a microfiber towel to remove any dusty appearance. If dust persists it may still have the plastic protective layer.
You can make the structure of the reptile tank more secure by using a clear/black aquarium-safe silicone along the base and bottom 1-2” to make it more solid and able to hold substrate. This enclosure is not waterproof. You will need to use silicone to seal the bottom. You can spray the substrate but do not dump water directly into it.
If you lose one, replacement screws for the door handles are easily found at any hardware store. They will be standard hardware that can be used for cabinets in general. A small washer can be added to the screws to make them more secure.
If you add a lot of weight to this terrarium, make sure you support the bottom when moving it.
To increase humidity in the enclosure, you can purchase a 1/8” or 3/16” sheet of acrylic or PVC from your local hardware store to set on top of the screen. However, we do not recommend interfering with your enclosure's built-in ventilation system. Instead, it's best to mist more frequently and/or install a reptile fogger.

Amazing enclosure
The enclosure look amazing andmy reptiles love them aswell

48x24x12 (60 Gallon) Reptile Enclosure
The build was very easy and my girl beardie is so happy! Definitely recommend this size as an upgrade.

Good Enclosure
Enclosure was somewhat easy to assemble, but it does take a lot of hammering into place. There aren't instructions provided, but a QR scan to download the online version - would prefer the hard copy though because I had to keep touching my phone to keep from timing out. It was lighter than I thought, I was able to assemble the whole thing and lift up on table all by myself. I do wish that the screen in top had an option to easily take off, because I have to slide my whole head into the enclosure to clean the back of the enclosure- it'd be easier if I could clean it from above. There are also little gaps in the corner that the dubia roaches have escaped to, so I have to make sure that I put the food in an open container for my beardie vs. just inside the enclosure. I've found a couple dubias that have escaped onto the floor in my closet, kitchen and living room. Overall, I would recommend, especially since the price was decent. Keep in mind, it's pretty spacious, so you'll need some extra heat lamps to warm up the enclosure. I don't think I've gotten it to be over 94 degrees.

Best enclosure!
So happy I found this enclosure! I originally purchased a tortoise box on Amazon and was very unhappy since it couldn’t hold heat or humidity well for my baby leopard tortoise. Now I am at ease knowing his temps and humidity are stable AND he has double the room. Thanks for making this affordable and also giving some of the profits to great causes as well.
