Zoo Med Can O’ Silkworms

Zoo Med Can O’ Silkworms is an easy, shelf-stable way to vary your reptile's diet while also making sure that you always have bugs on hand for emergencies. Silkworms in particular are a good source of important essential amino acids and healthy polyunsaturated fat. These 1" silkworm pupae can be used for feeding reptiles, amphibians, birds, and fish!

Directions:

Lizards and amphibians: Dust silkworms with calcium before feeding. Zoo Med Can O’ Silkworms may be offered in a food dish or via feeding tongs. Offer an appropriate number proportionate to the size of your pet. Discard uneaten food after 24 hours.

Aquatic turtles: Feed as much as your pet will eat in 5 minutes. Remove and discard any uneaten food immediately after feeding.

Silkworms can be cut into pieces if whole silkworms are too large for your pet. 

Refrigerate after opening and use within 7 days.
