Giant canyon isopods are native to Europe, but also found in North America. They're not much to look at, color-wise, with a dull brown color, but their sheer size makes up for that — these are the largest isopods available!
As part of a bioactive terrarium, P. dilatatus contributes by breaking down food waste, feces, and rotting foliage. They also make good feeders for smaller reptiles and amphibians!
For best health, don't forget to feed your isopods with a high-protein isopod diet such as Repashy Morning Wood.
