Different reptiles need different amounts of heat in order to be healthy — for example, what is the perfect temperature for a bearded dragon is much too hot for a crested gecko. So it's very important to monitor the temperatures present in your reptile's enclosure with a thermometer.

Accurately measuring the humidity of your pet's terrarium is also imperative to their health and wellbeing. Humidity is as essential as heat when it comes to the general health of many reptiles, and plays an essential role in preventing illness and promoting good hydration.

The Exo Terra Digital Combometer is a two-in-one device that uses one probe to accurately measure both temperature and humidity inside your pet's terrarium. Because the Combometer is digital and uses a probe to collect environmental data, it is more accurate than analog alternatives.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

To use, place the probe where you want to gather temperature and humidity data. To measure basking temperature, the probe must be placed on the basking surface directly below the heat lamp.

For best results, use at least two Exo Terra Digital Combometer devices, with one placed on each end of the terrarium to accurately monitor temperature and humidity gradients.
