Chinese Praying Mantis (Tenodera sinensis)
This mantis is a calm, easy-to-care-for species that grows up to 4 inches long. It has a slender body, a triangular head, and brown bodies with bright green accents! The adults are able to fly so be sure to have an appropriate enclosure.
Diet:
Young mantises are currently eating flightless fruit flies. You can get these on dubia.com. As they grow you can start offering larger prey such as dubia roaches, crickets, and black soldier flies. Water should be offered by misting or spraying the walls of the enclosure a few times per week. Otherwise they will get most of their moisture from the insects they eat.
