Zoo Med Can O’ Grasshoppers is a convenient way to add variety to your pet reptile's diet while also making sure that you always have food on hand for emergencies. These grasshoppers are fairly large, making them suitable for offering to large monitors, tegus, blue tongue skinks, turtles, and birds.

Instructions for Use:

Large lizards, aquatic and land turtles: Dust grasshoppers with calcium before offering to your reptile. Zoo Med canned grasshoppers may be offered in a shallow food dish or with feeding tongs. Feed animals 1 grasshopper at a time, an appropriate amount for the size of the animals you are feeding. 

Aquatic turtles: Feed as much as they can consume in 5 minutes. Remove and discard any uneaten food.

Zoo Med Can O’ Grasshoppers are ideal for larger lizards, turtles, and birds, but they can be chopped into pieces for smaller individuals.

Discard any uneaten grasshoppers after 24 hours.

Refrigerate after opening and use within 7 days.
