Your first impression of Stubbs may be that he’s a shy little guy, but with time he will warm up to you. He’s a bit of a lazy hunter, or possibly just spoiled. But he prefers his meals hand delivered in silver tongs. His name comes from the fact that he lost his front toes prior to coming to Wild Whiskers. It's important that his future owners provide him with a moist hide to encourage proper shedding.
Leopard geckos are solitary by nature and it is our expectation that Stubbs remains solitary in captivity. No exceptions. Any animal adopted from Wild Whiskers is adopted with a no-breeding agreement signed by the adopter. Our minimum enclosure size requirement for a Leopard gecko is 30 gallons. Reptile carpet, moss, or sand mats are the safest substrate alternative for Leopard geckos in order to avoid impaction risk. We expect adopters to have an understanding of heating/ lighting requirements for this species, and also be receptive to our feedback on the subject.
We hope Stubbs can find his perfect forever family within your home and we are excited to get to know you!Interested in Adopting
