Rep-Cal Juvenile Bearded Dragon Food, 12oz
Because they're in a phase of rapid growth, hatchling and juvenile bearded dragons have higher protein needs than adults. Hatchlings need 60-80% of their diet to come from high-protein food sources like insects, and juveniles (older than 3 months) need 50-60%.
Rep-Cal Juvenile Bearded Dragon Food is formulated to ensure proper growth and health by providing complete and balanced nutrition to young bearded dragons. It is a veterinarian-recommended food containing natural plant and fruit ingredients as well as 100% complete daily nutrition.
It is best practice to offer an appropriate balance of fresh insects and vegetables as the majority of your bearded dragon's diet. However, well-balanced prepared diets like Rep-Cal Juvenile Bearded Dragon Food add essential variety to their nutrition and are good to have on hand as a backup in case of emergency.
Instructions for Use:
Portion out as many pellets as your dragon can eat in about 8 hours. Moisten pellets in water, or fruit juice to make Rep-Cal Juvenile Bearded Dragon Food more tempting.
If offering Rep-Cal Juvenile Bearded Dragon Food dry, make sure fresh water is provided, as dry diets can have a dehydrating effect.
