Arboreal reptiles rarely have the luxury of having access to reservoirs of water to drink from whenever they want. They usually get their water from the food they eat, dew, and raindrops, which means that they instinctively may not recognize a water bowl as a source of drinking water.
The Exo Terra Dripper Plant simulates the way raindrops drip off of leaves in the wild, stimulating reptiles to drink with the motion that instinctively signals to them the availability of freshwater. This is particularly helpful for stimulating particularly stubborn drinkers such as chameleons!

Small dripper olant
This is a genius idea. I’m not sure why this isn’t the norm in the reptile world. I had never seen one before. I’ve not hooked it up in the cage yet but I have had it out hooked up and plugged in and it’s going to make my life so much easier. Perfect amount of time between drips, leaves are sturdy, very discreet with other plants, easy to assemble. Great purchase!
