Sunset are a large and vibrant species of A. vulgare that displays a wide shade range from light orange to a deep red! This species likes moderate humidity and breeds quickly once established. Vulgare reproduces a bit slower than other species, so it is a good idea to establish a colony before introducing them to your bioactive enclosure. This way you can seed your enclosure when needed. This species does enjoy burrowing and we recommend a substrate of ~3”.
